Pods have from 8 to 12 rooms and there is just one bed in each room. If there are a lot of kids in the detention center, the rooms can have up to 2 people per room. Chances are you'll be sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Not very comfortable, but hey, this isn't the Marriott! Your toilet and sink are connected and some rooms have no windows. The window on your door is only about 12" x 12"; not very big. You can't even see out of it. It's covered by a flap that's only opened when staff do room checks. They'll check on you about every 30 minutes or so. |
